DownloadIf you missed our annual convention in November 2022, here is a video compilation of what our work means to our leaders and clergy. VIA currently has over 70 member and affiliated congregations in our federation. We represent roughly 16,000 Vermonters as we use a community organizing methodology to effect systemic change on social justice issues.
Leaders at Vermont Interfaith Action press members of the Joint Legislative Justice Oversight Committee and the Commissioner of the Department of Corrections to improve conditions for incarcerated women in Vermont.
A virtual Action to ask members of Appropriations Committees to spend more money on construction of much-needed affordable housing in the state.
Bishop Dwayne Royster sharing with our leaders, clergy and staff at VIA's 5th annual convention.
Not too long ago, a $15 minimum wage seemed “radical” and “unrealistic.” But people all over this country, including right here in Vermont, are standing up and saying that it is not a radical idea to say a full-time job should lift you out of poverty, not keep you in it. Five states and the District of Columbia have already passed a $15 minimum wage, and I hope Vermont soon joins them.
A Vermont couple struggles to make ends meet in this comedic look at a serious subject. Join Vermont Interfaith Action in our grassroots movement to build a moral economy!
We are a diverse group of faith leaders, organizers, & community members united in the fight for a more just and equitable Vermont. Whether tackling issues like housing justice, climate action, or racial equity, we work tirelessly to uplift the voices of those most impacted by systemic injustice & create solutions benefiting all Vermonters.
Together We Give is an opportunity for you to join us. Your contribution helps strengthen community organizing, develop leaders & mobilize voters for a more just & equitable state. We can't do this without you!
